The training event on Supercontinuum Broadband Light Sources for UV and IR applications was held at Institut de Recherche FEMTO-ST (CNRS) in Besançon in France on 19-21 September 2017. The summer school was also open to researchers not involved in SUPUVIR and was attended by 66 scientists: 12 speakers, 5 engineers and postdocs, and 49 students.
This was the first opportunity for all 15 SUPUVIR students to meet and get to know each other, and much networking and socialising took place among the group.
