The “Entrepreneurship in Technical Science” training included 40 hours of preparation involving the creation of a business case proposal and participation in the ideation conference, further to participating in the 6 day summer school for 65 hours and 5 ECTS points. The innovation-related transferable skills acquired were in the areas of: creation of entrepreneurship and business plans, marketing, patents, prototyping, sales pitch preparation and delivery, pricing and budgeting, investment. Thus participants, identified business opportunities, gained an understanding of IPR, commercialization strategies and business models, exploitation, and standardisation.
