Institute of Electronic Materials Technology (ITME) is the leading Polish institute working in the area of research and development of materials and innovative devices for use in electronics, microsystems, optoelectronics, micromechanics, etc. Its staff is more than 250 and it is entitled to deliver the PhD degree in Material Engineering. Glass Department of the ITME has over 30 years experience in development of soft glass and optical image guide structures, photonic crystal fibers, nanostructured optics, etc.
