LEUKOS is a spin-off from XLIM laboratory, a mixed research unit (UMR 7252) from the French CNRS and the University of Limoges, France. This research institute involves ~ 440 people: faculty members, CNRS researchers and PhD students, conducting research on mathematics, computer science, photonics, electromagnetism and electronics. The company is now recognized as a key supplier of compact white-light supercontinuum sources and recently marketed the first supercontinuum source covering the UVA spectrum (315nm-400nm), patent pending. LEUKOS was rewarded by the best price "Photon d’Or" at the Innovation storefront of the French OPTO 2008 Exhibition for its tunable UV-VIS-IR laser source.
